Never run out of propane again! Parker Gas now offers Comfort Guard, a new wireless system to monitor your propane levels. It’s the latest example of how we use new technology to look after our customers in the Smithfield, Newton Grove, Fayetteville, Wilmington and Clinton areas.
If you’re an automatic delivery customer, you probably know that we’ve always used a degree-day system based on the weather and your past usage to calculate when you need more fuel. This eliminates the hassle of always calling us whenever you need more fuel.
While this is a reliable system for scheduling our automatic deliveries, it cannot take into account variables not related to the weather—such as extra use of appliances or changes in the number of people in your household. Customers who forget to tell us about these changes increase the risk of running out of propane.
Comfort Guard is a more accurate system because it tracks your actual usage and alerts us when it’s time to fill your tank. (You’ll also get an email or text to let you know your fuel level is getting low).
For a nominal fee (less than 25¢ per day), you can stay worry free with this monitoring service, which is also ideal for times when you are away from home for extended periods during the winter.
We believe so much in this fuel monitoring system that we make this guarantee: If you ever run out with Comfort Guard, your next fill-up is free!
Comfort Guard not only saves you the cost of service fees associated with a fuel run-out, it also saves you money on each delivery! That’s because we double your automatic delivery discount from 10¢ per gallon to 20¢ per gallon for customers who get the Comfort Guard system connected to their tank.
Right now, you may also qualify for this special offer: Sign up for Comfort Guard by December 31 and we’ll give you the first year free!
To qualify for the first year of free coverage, you must use at least 400 gallons of propane per year. Other conditions may apply. Please contact us today and tell us you want Comfort Guard. You’ll be glad you did!
