The Wilmington Grill is built to last, thanks to American-made stainless-steel construction. You’ll be amazed by its high-quality performance.
The Holland Grill is not an ordinary gas grill. Made in the U.S., it cooks food better and more easily than any other gas BBQ grill. Many have tried to copy its unique indirect grilling system, but none have succeeded. If you’re looking for a gas grill that’s easy to use and makes tender, juicy food, you’re looking for a Holland Grill.
Based on an ancient Japanese method of cooking, the Big Green Egg is a ceramic charcoal-fired grill that can heat food as high as 750˚. Everything you cook in it tastes juicier and more flavorful.
A tankless water heater uses a flame so hot you no longer need to keep water sitting in a storage tank eating up energy dollars while it waits to be used. The “on-demand” system provides virtually unlimited hot water, up to 50% more efficiently than traditional models.
Every spring, members of our team participate in Relay for Life fundraising events, and Parker Gas contributes financially. This year, we donated to events in Johnston County and Sampson County. Relay for Life celebrates the lives of people who have battled cancer, remembers loved ones lost and raises money to fight back against this disease. Please visit RelayForLife.org to learn more.
We have also sponsored youth baseball and youth softball teams in Sampson County, Cumberland County and New Hanover County, and our employees have volunteered their time as coaches.
Fortunately, propane prices have come back down quite a bit since midwinter. But some of the national supply challenges that led to the winter increase continue to concern us.

Place bug zappers, mosquito machines or traps away from the barbecue area. These devices are designed to attract bugs! Put them at a distance.
Water your flowering plants right before you start your barbecue. Pollinating insects stay away from wet plants.
Use an oscillating fan in your seating area. The air current will deter flying insects.
Eliminate standing water. Stagnant water in tires, birdbaths, pool covers, clogged gutters and landscaped ponds is a breeding site for mosquitoes.
Use yellow bulbs or low-voltage lighting. Neon, fluorescent and bright lights attract insects. To reduce insect incursions further, turn off any unnecessary lighting inside your home.
Avoid mulch. Many landscapers, for cosmetic purposes, will pile up mulch around trees and foundation shrubs. But this leads to the growth of fungi—and insects that feed on fungi! Opt for decorative stone instead; it won’t attract bugs and provides proper drainage and evaporation.
Gasoline poses a fire hazard; propane does not. Propane also does not emit toxic fumes the way a gasoline generator does. If not used properly, a gasoline generator can cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
Unlike gasoline or diesel, propane can be easily delivered and safely stored on your property. During extended power outages, gasoline may be hard to get.
Propane can be stored for an unlimited amount of time. Gasoline often needs to be discarded because it degrades after being in storage awhile.
A propane generator will start more easily in very cold weather because it won’t thicken and gel like gasoline.
Propane produces significantly fewer greenhouse gas emissions than diesel and gasoline.
1. Compared with other fuels, propane is much less combustible. When combined with air, the source of ignition must be at least 940°—that’s twice as high as the ignition temperature of gasoline.
2. Autogas, a propane-based motor fuel, is the third most popular vehicle fuel, next to gasoline and diesel. Because it’s so safe and cost-effective, autogas is now being used for buses, fleet trucks, forklifts, farm tractors and lawn mowers.
3. High-efficiency heat pumps can be driven by a propane-fueled engine. This system is designed to efficiently heat and cool multiple zones within a home.
4. Because propane is nontoxic and doesn’t pose a threat to soil and water, installing propane tanks (above or below ground) is not regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency.
5. Propane is an essential fuel for nearly 900,000 farms in the U.S. It’s used for irrigation pumps, crop drying, fruit ripening, space and water heating, generators and refrigeration.
Most people know that propane is a clean-burning and cost-effective fuel source. So why not save money by converting more of your appliances to propane?
❖ Gas ranges give you a much higher degree of control because of precise
temperatures. An added benefit is that a gas stove will continue to work
during a power outage.
❖ Propane is a quick, efficient and affordable way to heat water for the dishwasher, washing machine, shower and spa tub.
❖ Gas dryers get clothes dry quickly, and efficiently too.
❖ Compared to a wood-burning fireplace, a propane hearth warms a room more efficiently and requires little maintenance.
No other fuel can do as much as propane can to make lounging in your backyard a pleasant experience. And thanks to modern advances in flexible piping, you can now extend your use of propane to a wide range of outdoor products—even refrigerators and fireplaces!
Among the most popular trends are “outdoor rooms,” particularly kitchens that feature everything from high-end grills and cooktops to ovens and rotisseries. Outdoor kitchens can be fueled either by a portable cylinder or, for more convenience, through a connection to your home’s main storage tank.
Are dust bunnies ruling your roost? Let the iRobot Roomba® 880 take over. It can be easily programmed to slide through any room, cleaning as it goes. It’s ideal for anyone with pets or allergies. When prices are high and volatile, it’s tempting to think your fuel dealer is coming out ahead. In fact, the price we charge is determined largely by the cost of the fuel we buy to resell to you (the wholesale cost).
In our case, our price for propane continues to be at or below the statewide average. These comparison numbers take into account “delivery only” companies that offer no credit terms, repair service, pricing or budget programs, or supply guarantees. If you compare apples to apples, you really see what a terrific value Parker Gas provides for you.
We think you deserve dependability, convenience, safety and personal service. We hope you feel that’s exactly what you get from us!
Dear Friends,
Wow, what a winter! It was one of the coldest we’ve experienced in a long time, and unfortunately, we did see higher propane prices. But the cold wasn’t the only reason.
The combination of a longer-than-normal crop-drying season in the Midwest and increased exports of propane joined with colder temperatures and national supply bottlenecks to create a perfect storm for prices.
To provide a shield against the worst of the price spikes in February, we made short-fill deliveries to tide you over until prices started to drop. We thank you for the patience and understanding you showed during these difficult times.
Our team worked seven days a week during the coldest weather to make sure all of our customers stayed warm. We really appreciated their efforts, and we hope you didn’t feel let down this winter. If you did, please let us know about it so we can make things right.
As we all enjoy the warm weather now, please keep next winter in the back of your mind. Take some time to consider your options; our pricing and payment programs can make managing your fuel bills much easier.
Thank you for your trust in us!
Warmly,
David Parker
