Dear Friends,
As we head into the colder months, we want to thank you for your business. These days, it’s hard to find a company that isn’t part of a national chain or a major corporation. And while it comes as no surprise when our customers tell us how much they appreciate working with a family-owned company that’s been in the neighborhood for many years, we do appreciate hearing it.
We’re proud to guarantee that a real person will answer the phone when you call and give you the help you need. When you stop by to visit us, our friendly and courteous staff is happy to see you and answer your questions. And, perhaps most importantly, you can always look to us for fast, reliable service whenever you need it — especially if it’s an emergency. We had plenty of those last winter!
When it comes to making your life more convenient, count on us for easy, efficient services like automatic deliveries and budget-friendly payment options. We’re also happy to help you choose products for your home, from energy-efficient tankless water heaters that provide plenty of hot water to gas fireplaces that add warmth and charm.
As a family business, we could not have made it this far if we didn’t exceed customer expectations, and we look forward to continuing that long tradition for you this season.
Warmly,
David Parker and Daren Parker

Balance out your comfort and savings throughout the year with these four suggestions for propane upgrades.
How much do you know about propane and its energy-efficient appliances? Here are some facts that may surprise you.
Many of our propane customers get scheduled deliveries. They never have to call us for fuel because we carefully track their fuel usage and then make a delivery before their tank gets low. Automatic delivery does not cost anything extra!
This system works for most customers if usage is consistent, but there are exceptions, especially for customers who use propane appliances at their discretion, such as fireplaces, space heaters and pool heaters.
In cases like this, we ask that you call us for a delivery when your propane tank gauge reaches 30%. This will give us plenty of time to get more fuel to you. And if you start using a lot more or less fuel than you did last year, please call and let us know.
We want to make sure you’re getting the most out of your propane appliances. Here are a few tips on how to keep everything running safely and efficiently in your home.

Q: The pilot light on my gas fireplace won’t stay lit. My neighbor told me there might be something wrong with my thermocouple. How can I fix it?
A: It’s probably not your thermocouple, which is a sensor used to measure temperature. Most of the time, the problem you describe is the result of a dirty pilot tube. We often get calls about this in the fall, when people begin to use their fireplaces. Dust and debris collect in the pilot tube when it isn’t being used, and it needs to be cleaned.
We can inspect and clean your gas fireplace to ensure that it’s working properly all season. You should get this service done each fall.
